We’ve recently gotten a surge of inquiries asking the same question — “When will my order be shipped?” — so I wanted to help clear things up!

On October 10th, we locked addresses for all remaining orders. On that date, you should have received the email shown below prompting you to double-check that your address was correct and up to date:

The first half of this email is a little vague though, stating that rewards will ship soon, and I think it’s caused some confusion now that a few weeks have passed.

I realize some miscommunication may have taken place over the past few months. Due to production delays, we had originally intended to begin shipping orders in October, but it was accidentally posted on our campaign page that we would complete shipping by October. This date was incorrect and I sincerely apologize for the confusion this may have caused!

So… when will your order ship?

To offer more clarity on our progress: as of this update, we have about 1,300 orders left to fulfill. Because of the sheer volume of orders we’re processing, it will take several weeks to complete fulfillment. We currently expect to continue shipping orders until at least mid-December.

It’s difficult to estimate when individual orders will ship, but you can always check the current status of your order by visiting your survey review page! If your order has shipped, this page will also display your tracking link.

As for notifications, you’ll receive an email from BackerKit with your tracking information once your order has shipped. We don’t pre-generate labels or tracking numbers ahead of time — you’ll only receive tracking once your order has been packed and is ready to be handed off to USPS.

The moment we’ve all been anxiously waiting for is finally here — the clothing just arrived! 🎉

That means we’ll soon be able to start shipping out orders containing both plush and clothing! It’s going to be a very busy couple of months ahead, so let’s take a look at our current fulfillment progress and the schedule moving forward.

🍄 Sticker-Only Orders — (COMPLETED! 🎉🎉🎉)
All sticker-only orders were shipped on August 27th via USPS First Class Mail (aka letter mail with stamps). Tracking isn't available with letter mail, so if your package hasn’t arrived yet please contact us for help!

🍄 Small-Item Only Orders — (COMPLETED! 🎉🎉🎉)
All small-item only orders were shipped on September 8th! We anticipate that the majority of packages have been successfully delivered by now. If you haven't received your package, please contact us for help!

🍄 Plush-Only Orders — (IN PROGRESS ⏱️ 73% COMPLETE)
We’re getting close to finishing plush-only orders! We anticipate these will be fully completed by the end of October. 

🍄 Plush & Clothing Orders — (ADDRESSES ABOUT TO LOCK)
If your order includes both plush and clothing, please make sure your address is up to date!
You can update your address through your BackerKit survey or account settings. If you’re unable to update it or have lost your survey link, please contact us at [email protected] and we’ll be happy to help!

We expect to begin shipping these orders before the end of October!

Due to the current Canada Post strike, we’ve decided to hold all Canadian orders until the strike has passed.

Shipping through USPS and Canada Post is still the safest and most affordable option right now. We did explore private couriers, but the brokerage fees they charge upon delivery are unreasonably high, and I just can’t justify surprising you all with that!

As of today, Canada Post plans to rotate its strikes starting tomorrow, which will allow for periodic postal service. However, since there’s no guarantee that packages won’t be delayed, lost, or returned, I don’t feel confident sending out packages just yet. I hope you all understand!

If you follow our socials, you might already know that we’ll be vending at Biggest Little Fur Con next week in Reno, NV! If you’ll be attending the convention and haven’t yet received a shipping notification for your order, you’ll have the option to pick up your order from us at our Dealers’ Den table.

To pick up your order, you’ll need to fill out a form at-con to verify your personal and shipping information so we can match you to your order. Someone else can pick up on your behalf, but they’ll also need to fill out and sign the form! After your order is picked up, it will be marked as fulfilled, and we’ll refund your shipping cost after the convention ends.

This isn’t directly related to the campaign, but it’s something I really want to share with you all!

My best friend Lake will be moving in with us at the end of October! They’ll be taking over the room that’s currently our packing space, so order fulfillment will be on a short hold around then while we get things ready for them and move our packing setup to the garage.

Without sharing too many personal details, this year has been extremely difficult for them. They are currently in an abusive, unsafe living situation and experiencing near-homelessness.  They’ve raised enough to cover their flight here, but could use a bit more help with buying essentials and getting back on their feet.

It would truly mean the world to me if any of you could donate to their fundraiser or help share it around! 💛

We've been quietly chipping away at fulfillment for the past few weeks and I wanted to take a moment to pop in with some updates!

I have GOOD NEWS!! The clothing has officially finished production and is currently being prepared to ship! We opted to ship the clothing by air this time, which is much faster than shipping by boat, so we anticipate to receive the clothing by mid-October. It won't be much longer until we can begin shipping orders with these rewards!

We began packing plush-only orders on September 10th! We have been making steady progress and anticipate to complete these orders in about 2-3 more weeks. 

🍄 Plush & Clothing Orders
If you have an order containing plush and clothes (& other small goodies), it is still a safe bet to expect that your rewards will begin shipping in October! We won’t lock down your addresses until the clothing is about ready to ship.

💬 You will receive an email notification from Backerkit once your order has been shipped! We drop-off packages at the post office twice a week and push these notifications shortly afterwards. Once you get this notification you should expect to see your tracking update within 24 hours!

As of this update, there are still about 90 orders with incomplete surveys or missing payments. If that includes you, we kindly ask that you complete your survey and finalize payment as soon as possible so we can ensure you get your rewards!

Since our last update, we’ve split orders into 4 groups instead of 3! Please check the group below that corresponds with your rewards type for the latest updates:

🍄 Sticker-Only Orders — (COMPLETED! 🎉🎉🎉)
We just finished packing all of the sticker-only orders today! You should have received a notification letting you know your order has been processed!

All sticker-only orders were shipped via USPS First Class Mail (aka letter mail with stamps), so tracking isn’t available. Letter mail can take up to 15 days to arrive depending on your location, so we kindly ask that you wait until then before reaching out about a missing order! If your package hasn’t arrived by September 12th, please contact us for help! ❤️

🍄 Small-Item Only Orders
We’ll begin shipping “small-item only” orders (stickers, washi tape, and the supporter pin) starting September 3rd!

Address lock notices for these orders will be sent out very soon, so if you need to make a change to your address please do so during the next few days so we can make sure your order goes to the right place! 

🍄 Plush-Only Orders
Once small-item orders are complete, we’ll begin packing “plush-only” orders (any orders without clothing). We now have all our packing materials ready, so we expect to start on September 5th!

Address lock notices for these orders will be sent out very soon, so if you need to make a change to your address please do so during the next few days so we can make sure your order goes to the right place!

Hey there Critters! It's time for an update!

Last week all of the plushies were delivered to me! I’ve been going through the boxes, and I gotta tell y'all — they came out SO GOOD!!! Large-scale production always comes with its worries, but the quality and craftsmanship are absolutely amazing. I genuinely couldn’t be happier with how they turned out!

They’re still a little scrungled in these photos from being squished in their boxes, but I want to share them anyways!

Last week was busy for deliveries! Along with the plushies, we also received most of the sticker designs and our critter washi tape! 

At this time, we're waiting on just two things: the cross-collab reward stickers and the clothing.

Even with the clothing delay, we plan to start packing orders next week! We've broken our orders up into 3 groups, so please check out the group that corresponds with your rewards type!

🍄 Small-Item Only Orders
We will begin with "small-item" only orders (orders containing only stickers, washi tape, & the supporter pin)! Address lock notices for these orders will be sent out very soon, so if you need to make a change to your address please do so during the next few days so we can make sure your order goes to the right place!

Once we complete those small orders, we will begin packing "plush-only" orders! (aka, any orders without clothing.) I like to keep Backerkit updates short so they are easier to read through, but I have to take a moment to express my gratitude for all of you again! This little idea of mine has come so far over the last year and so much of that growth is owed to you guys. I'm repeatedly blown away by the amount of love and support you all shower me with and in complete honesty, it makes me want to happy cry daily (I'm tearing up writing this!)!!!

I know I've talked about it before, but a few years ago I didn't believe I could do something like this. I couldn't even get my ideas out of my head, let alone believe in them and go on to do ALL THIS! I feel like such a bigger and better person now, but in the most real, positive way. I'm literally overfilled with a sense of love and gratitude every single day! It's almost surreal because I can walk into my garage and see the critters, something I have put so much of my own personal love and passion into, and feel a sense of accomplishment and gratefulness that I haven't experienced before. I've done a lot of personal work, but you all really helped me see that things can change, life can get better, and that I can take up space in this world.
